Feel God's Presence or Should We Feel God's Presence?

When I realized I was doing a message titled, Feel God's Presence, I knew this would be good for me.  The enneagram is a personality inventory that organizes, like most personality inventories, around tendencies or predispositions.  they can be considered compulsions when individuals are in dysfuntion.  One of the groupings in the Enneagram has to do with whether one is a head person, a heart person, or a gut person.  In the Enneagram I am a head person which means that the more dysfuntional or compulsive I become the more separated from my emotions I am.  In fact, I have been accused of being emotionless at times, which is a nice way of saying I have been considered to be a cold hearted and unfeeling person.  to which I have responded, "That's not true, I have deep thoughts about my feelings all the time."  Somehow having thoughts about my feelings never seems to satisfy my accusers that I am feeling much of anything!  So, when the message, Feel God's Presence, fell to me I saw God's humor in it immediately.  I think maybe a better title might be, Should We Try to Feel God's Presence?  What do you think?

Scripture
Where can I go from your Spirit?  Where can I fell from your presence?  If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there.  If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even then Your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

Psalm 139:7-10
