Prayer, the Heart Coming Home

"God has graciously allowed me to catch a glimpse into his heart, and I want to share with you what I have seen.  Today the heart of God is an open would of love...He longs for our presence.

And he is inviting you--and me--to come home, to come home to where we belong, to come home to that for which we were created.  His arms are stretched out wide to receive us. His heart is enlarged to take us in.

For too long we have been in a far country: a country of noise and hurry and crows, a country of climb and push and shove, a country of frustration and fear and intimidation. And he welcomes us home: home to serenity and peace and joy, home to friendship and fellowship and openness, home to acceptance and affirmation.

We do not need to by shy.  He invites us into the living room of his heart..."

"...I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place.  For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.  I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and I will bring you back from captivity..."
